The Hillman Culture
Giving back in the communities where we work and live improves the health and wellness of others and gives us a sense of pride. Hillman team members are encouraged to volunteer at a charity of their choice. Throughout the year, we are pleased to serve:
- National Breast Cancer Foundation
- Make-A-Wish Foundation
- Cincinnati Children's Hospital
- The Ronald McDonald House
- Toys for Tots
- Crayons to Computers
- Mt. Healthy Alliance
- Freestore Foodbank
- Autism Speaks
Across North America, our distribution centers also give back to their local communities by supporting missions, clothing drives, education, homeless shelters, and at-risk children, just to name a few.

We know that innovation is what drives business, so we empower our people to look for different ways to solve problems by giving them the resources and freedom to create something new. Our team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and software developers work closely together to create innovative products, while our logistics teams deliver state-of- the-art distribution capabilities.
Leveraging what’s new in consumer trends, our teams use innovation every day to solve our customers’ problems. We don’t let the size of the challenge stop us from trying to make our customers more successful. Our team is encouraged to share new ideas, to test and explore them, working closely with our customers to design customized solutions that meets their needs.
Whether it’s engineering or sourcing a new product, to designing custom signage, to offering unique packaging for professionals and DIY users, we find ways to make the shopping experience better, building sales for our customer’s businesses.
