Fixed Asset Coordinator (Monday – Friday – 1st shift)

A fixed asset order planning, processing and
inventory reconciliation position as it relates to machine production.
Oversees and coordinates all fixed asset transactions, including
shipments and receipts.
1. Coordinates rollout shipment orders for fulfillment from multiple
locations.
2. Communicates with Hillman staff to clarify customer, replacement
orders and roll out requirements as needed.
3. Verifies and receives AR’s in coordination Customer Service and Fixed
Asset personnel.
4. Responsible to verify and maintain machines by SN and inventory in
the repair location.
5. Pick confirms and controls outbound shipments from the finished goods
location as required.
6. Maintains an accurate inventory of fixed assets by SN and inventory
in the FG location.
7. Reconciles machines by SN and physical inventory with Accounting.
8. Serves as a resource in short tem production planning with
Supervisors and line leads.
9. Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems;
reports other problems to supervisor.
10. Serves as a resource in evaluating and analyzing inventory issues in
multiple areas as required.
11. Maintains an organized and clean working environment.
12. Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to
supervisor.
13. Work involves frequent standing, sitting and walking. Frequent
lifting and carrying.
14. Work involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, odors, and electrical
hazards.
15 Acts as a back up to Supervisors and Line Lead as required.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2-5 years working with
Assets and inventory maintenance or, equivalent experience. Very good
communication skills, written, and verbal with specific attention to
detail.
Computer literate including MS Word, Excel and JDE. Great organization
skills with ability to work independently. Good interpersonal and
communication skills. Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
Able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and
operate a pallet jack.

Software Quality Tester (Monday – Friday – Days)

Performs a variety of test procedures to ensure that the company’s
software and related hardware meet quality specifications.
1. Executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems and
verify the quality of various software technologies.
2. Assists with new product development by testing prototype products.
3. Identifies and tracks software bugs.
4. Documents and diagnoses test results.
5. Tests the functionality of entire systems and interaction of
subcomponents.
6. Maintains accurate testing records.
7. Assists with the development of test plans and scripts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Related college courses strongly
preferred. Software testing and bug reporting experience strongly
preferred. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows. Knowledge of Dos a
plus.
Able to learn and use a variety of in-house software applications and
systems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good
interpersonal and communication skills.
Description:
Cutter Room Technician I Monday – Thursday (5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.)

Generates production parts
from the HAAS machine. Fabricates solid carbide tooling for Axxess Key
Duplication Systems.
1. Generates HAAS machined parts per production schedule.
2. Enhances team morale - communicates concerns, issues and suggestions
to Supervisor and conducts follow-ups with team members.
3. Maintains fixture/tool and documentation integrity to comply with
process specifications.
4. Continually seeks process improvement opportunities.
5. Uses verbal and written instructions to set up and operate complex
CNC grinding equipment. Maintains required production levels.
6. Fabricates cutter wheels per production schedule.
7. Uses Windows based vendor software to create tooling.
8. Dresses grinding wheels to specifications.
9. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
10. Ensures that all parts conform to stringent specifications prior to
delivery to manufacturing.
11. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish
job results with minimum waste.
12. Uses knowledge and experience to resolve general operating problems;
reports other problems to Supervisor. Works with machine manufacturers
to resolve equipment issues.
13. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
14. Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to
Supervisor.
15. Uses calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, indicators, and
various inspection tools to perform work. Operates various manufacturing
and machine shop equipment.
16. Work involves constant standing and walking and frequent lifting.
17. Work involves exposure to dust, noise, fumes, odors, electrical
hazards, and hazardous materials.
18. Assists in the Machine Shop with various projects such as preparing
and completing orders.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years experience operating CNC
machines.
Strong shop math skills. Able to read blueprints. Computer literate.
Able to learn and use vendor software applications. Good interpersonal
and communication skills. Able to train and motivate employees. Able to
work from verbal and written instructions. Good hand-eye coordination,
manual dexterity and attention to detail. Able to use a variety of tools
and operate cutter room equipment. Able to stand for extended periods of
time and lift 80 pounds.
